Candy Wrapper Challenge

This week at Fairy Fun Fridays the challenge is use a candy wrapper.  Well I used gum wrappers, two different kinds one is the blue of the water in the background and the other is the embossed silver cobblestones.  To accomplish this look you can use aluminum foil wrapped and taped around a piece/s of cardstock.  Then run it through your embossing template of your choice.  You must have the cardstock attached to the foil or the foil will crumble and you will not get the desired effect.  In this case instead of aluminum foil I used gum wrappers.  This image is from Prairie Fairy Designs and is called The Lighthouse.

Lion Sleeps at Night

Come join us at Fairy Fun Fridays this week where the theme is Punch It.  It doesn't get any simpler than that.  I used the Lenny Lion digital image from Prairie Fairy Designs for this card.  For punches I used the MS icicle border punch (repeatedly), the 3 flower punch from SU and a multiple heart punch from SU.  I embossed the background with Forest Branches EF and rubbed it with pearlescent chalks.  I also embossed all of the punched areas with either the Small Dots EF from SU or the Mesh Cuttlebug EF.
