Christmas Through the Eyes of a Child

I used the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge 23 but I didn't have room for 4 squares down the left side like the sketch showed as I really wanted to use these freebie digi images I got from Cuddly Buddly Crafts, I hope that is acceptable.  I even made the card 5.5 x 5.5 instead of my normal smaller card.  I used Kai in the Snow by Mo's Digital Pencil Too for the Mo's DP2 Challenge 21 - to use the following colors: blue; brown and neutral.  I embossed the background paper, use liquid applique and a heat tool for the snow and used Flower Soft for the pompoms of the snowsuit.

Sympathy card or get well - works for either

Well Corry I had to do another 5.5 x 5.5" card again, my background stamp of SU's Medallion was too big and I didn't want a partial stamped image.  I used the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge 22 this time and picked the colors from Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge 34 - Apricot Appeal, Very Vanilla and Chocolate Chip, although these aren't my normal colors I like the way it turned out.  I thought of Lori a lot while doing this card as she likes the arm tones.  No patterned paper for this card I made my own this time.  I stamped the Medallion stamp with Craft Apricot Appeal and stamped it on Apricot Appeal paper, I added clear EP and heated it up.  For an extra accent I added color with my woodless pencils in the shadowed areas of the Medallion image.

I used copics to color my Miss Anya image but also used coloring pencils, blending stump and baby oil for extra dimension in the shading.
Here is a close up to show the detail of the Medallion stamp and also of the embossed Chocolate Chip paper where I used a copper metallic rub on to enhance the embossing.

Stamps:  Miss Anya Dressy - The Greeting Farm, Medallion - SU
