I will gladly share a few pics of our trip with my friends. We went on a 9 day trip by car (16 hour drive one way) to Alberta mid-June. Instead of overloading you with several pics at once I will load a few a day, hopefully I will fit a card in here and there as well.
This is Lauren (our youngest daughter, 14) doing her first ever bungee jump, 106 ft. drop. She is scared of heights but braved it anyway. She said should would do it again from 200 ft. if given the opportunity.
The four of us prepared to go on our rafting tour of the Athabasca River, the largest rapids we hit were a point 2, plenty enough to get soaked as we did. We followed this up by changing clothes and then go on a tram ride up the mountain. The elevation change from the lower part of the tram to the higher area was 3200 ft. The top of the tram's elevation was over 7000 ft. above sea level. There were 2 km trails you can walk to the summit of the mountain, but we weren't dressed properly after being soaked. It would have been way to cold. None of us had ever seen the mountains, they are majestic and beautiful, I highly recommend it to anyone else.
On our way back out of Jasper National Park we came across a herd of mountain goat, with several babies frolicing around. We got as close as 5-6 ft. away from one of the adults. We also saw 4 moose cows and 2 big horn sheep but were unable to get pics of them.
