Glitz 'n' Glitter Challenge at Fairy Fun Fridays

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog.  This week the design team's challenge at Fairy Fun Fridays was to use Glitz 'n' Glitter on our projects.  This is my first attempt with this technique and rather enjoyed it.  The background is a technique called Burnished Velvet shown to me at a local scrapbook store.  When I had this shown to me last spring, I was utterly fascinated and of course, had to have it.  But much to my chagrin, this is my project using it.  Well it was as easy as it looked to begin with.  I put this project off all week, even though I knew I what I wanted to do simply because I was a little intimidated.  I knew in my mind what I wanted to create, but I would be creating the design freehand as opposed to the demonstration I had received and was unsure on how it would turn out.  That's right never do anything the easy way, that's my motto.  The background is covered with glitter, I have Iridescent Ice EP on Kitty Fairy's wings, one of the very first freebies that the Prairie Fairy offered upon her debut.  There are rhinestones on the four corners of the creating and I used a shimmer chipboard piece as an accent.  I hope you like it.

Stamps - Kitty Fairy - Prairie Fairy Designs, True Friends, Celebration and Treasures - all CTMH
Paper - Perfect Plum, Whisper White, Pretty in Pink
Ink - Staz On Black, Basic Black
Accessories - many glitters, shimmer chipboard, crystal effects, rhinestones, pop dots, Iridescent Ice EP, copics, blending stump, baby oil, coloring pencils and Be Creative Tape
